Hello...How is everyone?  I've had a great first week in the land of Lizzie Loves, apart from developing webbed feet with all this rain I've been busy with a couple of new commissions. I'm mainly working on personalised wedding cards and a textile picture - a present for a Godmother to be - which is coming along quite nicely.  I'll show all in a couple of weeks when the Christening has been and gone...I don't want to spoil any surprises.

I woke up to some very exciting news this morning! One of my wedding cards has been featured on Cuteable blog- yey - this is my first feature on another blog spot, so there was great excitement in our house before work.

My pink fluttering hearts was loved by the website as part of their 'Craft Juice Tuesday' spot...check it out at http://www.cuteable.com/.

Well the sun has put me a very productive mood this afternoon,  I've finished off the last of my teacher cards, a pocket mirror and a birthday card...so I thought I'd show you the fruits of my labour.

Now I'm off to sit in the garden with a well earned G&T which is being being prepared as I type by my scrummy hubby...have a good weekend everyone x x

And finally the sunshines...hooray! Well for half a day at least...  Its been a busy month for weddings and birthdays.  My personalised Fluttering Heart Wedding cards are literally flying out the door...pardon the pun!  One very special person celebrated his birthday last week...my Dad.  As a long suffering football fan; Oldham Athletic are his team (and mine for my sins) and I thought it was appropriate to design a football themed card especially for him.  See it proves hand crafted cards don't have to be 'girly' :)  I've got loads of ideas for sporting themed cards so watch this space.

I thought I'd show you some of the other cards I've worked on so far this month too, hope you like them.

This wedding card for Emma and James had a real delicate vintage feel, the soft green gingham and linen worked really well with the accent of pink.  Congratulations to the happy couple, I hope the sun shines on them.

This card looks great with the names of the happy couple at the bottom.

Morning! I'm up bright and early this morning as I have a busy weekend ahead with a hen do all day today for bride to be lovely Evie, and a christening tomorrow so not much time for making so I'm squeezing it in when I can.

I had a busy week too, I sold my first two items on Folksy(yey) as well as working on a couple of commissions.  The Godmother textile pictures are finished and handed over all wrapped up and looking gorgeous.  I hope the Godmothers to be like them.  I'll post images later, I don't want to spoil any surprises.

I've been working on a new personalised wedding card this week for a wedding with a blue colour theme.  I'm liking the results, hope the happy couple do too - congratulations.

The Fluttering Hearts wedding cards seem to be proving popular which is great cause I love them - simple and effective.  I've been getting loads of orders for these through Facebook and sold my first one on Folksy this week!  And one lucky Mum will receive this gorgeous card for her Birthday, it has a lovely vintage fell this card - the dusky pinks, linen and shell buttons really complement each other.
